Classroom

At various times during the day the school leavers have access to the classroom. This room has been set up as a more focused learning room where children can do 1:1 activities with staff such as letters and sounds phonics. It has a mark making area, numeracy area, a book corner and a small world/construction area as well as a working display wall where children’s work can be put up on a weekly basis to reflect the topic and their interests.

The classroom children also have access to their own food room which is used as a messy room in the afternoons, At lunch time the children are encouraged to self serve their food and drink where possible.

The classroom children can also take part in swimming lessons and forest school (see enrichment activities). Additionally, they will regularly go on walks and trips to enhance their curriculum and their knowledge and understanding of the world around them. They will go on trips to the local church for significant events i.e. Easter, Christmas, Remembrance day etc as well as visiting the local library or museums.

"Absolutely the best nursery by far,  I've got nothing but praise. My daughter came on leaps and bounds."
