Enrichment activities we offer
When the children are aged 3-4, fully toilet trained, and able to follow guided instructions, they are able to take part in our swimming sessions. We have partnered up with Swim School based at Sharples High School. We are able to take a group of 10-12 children on a weekly basis. The cost of the sessions include transport and are currently charged at £8.50 per session. Assessment weeks will happen once a term and if the children have achieved any distance badges, learn to swim badges or duckling badges we are able to order these from Swim School at a cost of £3.50 per badge and certificate.
Our school leavers aged 3-4, can take part in Little Feet's Forest School. Forest School is an outdoor learning program where children develop skills through play-based, child-led activities in a woodland or natural setting. These sessions aim to build confidence, independence, and a connection with nature through activities like nature walks, building, crafting, and exploring seasonal change. When the sessions are running, the children will go out on a Tuesday morning with their classroom teachers to take part in these activities. This is at no additional cost to the parents.
