Government Funding from 9 months to 4 years old

The government provides funded places for eligible children from the term after they turn 9 months old. You can check if you are eligible and if so a code will be provided.

This code will be your child's funding code until they leave for primary school.

All you need to do is revalidate the code every 3 months to ensure this funding is still available to you.

Children become eligible for the Free Early Years Entitlement (FEYE) in the term after their third birthday until they reach compulsory school age (the beginning of the term following their fifth birthday).

A free early education place consists of 570 hours a year over no fewer than 38 weeks of the year for every eligible child, this equates to a maximum of 15 hours per week.

We accept children who claim the 30 hours funding.

Give us a ring if you think you are eligible and we can arrange a show around the nursery.

Chargeable Extras

What we require parents to bring

We ask that parents provide a labelled drawstring bag with nappies and wipes if your child requires them. We will advise when this bag needs to be refilled.

If your child requires formula milk, we ask that a full unopened tub be brought in, we will advise when this needs to be repurchased.

If your child requires bottles, we ask that one is kept at nursery. The children also have regular access to drinking water and we ask a spill proof bottle is provided daily.

We have continuous access to a covered, weather proof outside play area and as part of your child's development we try to be outside as much as we can be and we ask that your child is prepared to be outside in all seasons.

Therefore, we would be grateful if you could provide your child with a clearly labelled bag with the following weather appropriate clothing:

  • Several changes of clothing that are altered for the changing seasons

  • Hat, gloves and scarf

  • Wellies or sensible outside shoes

  • Coat

  • Sun cream and sunhats

  1. Visit sessions are charged at £15 for a 2 hour session. We recommend 2 sessions to support both the child and the parent to settle into the nursery.

  2. We charge for meals and snacks during the day, they are as follows: breakfast 50p, mid morning snack £1, lunch and dessert £3, mid afternoon snack £1 , light tea £1

  3. Additional hours outside of funding is charged at an hourly rate of either £7.50ph if they are aged 2 or under or £8.50ph for over 3's

  4. If you wish for your child to take part in activities outside of the nursery i.e. swimming lessons, these are an additional charge. However no additional charge is taken by the nursery and the total cost of the lessons is what the nursery is being charged.
